UNUSUAL is the clothing line from my studio, known for bold and imaginative graphics. Each collection needed a centrepiece artwork to hold the whole drop together.
The artwork for The Evelation is two hands rising out of a pink cloud, taken from Psalm 24:7, 'Lift up your heads, O ye gates.' Collage lets me combine real textures, skin, cloud and paper, into something dreamlike that still feels physical. The garments stay in solid purple and olive so the artwork reads from across a room.
The drop
