Collage Portrait Series

Figures in profile, where the head opens into something else.

The Collage Portrait Series is ongoing. Each figure is shown in profile, and the head opens into something else: a bouquet, a flame, a sunset, a crown of leaves.

I use the profile because it gives dignity and stillness, and leaves room for what comes out of the head. Flowers are the language I return to most. The work was shown in the Unusual Series with Artgence in Paris (2021) and in All Eyes On with Subo International Art Magazine in Portugal (2022).
